Hello all! My name is Martha Schaller, and I am a Christian writer, poet, photographer, and designer! So glad you stumbled across my page!
I grew up in Southwest Michigan, and I currently attend the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, where I am studying English, Creative Writing, and German. I published my first poetry collection in 2022, All the Little Things, with the help of Lloyd Scholars for Writing and the Arts at U-M. My poetry has also been published by the likes of Apelley Publishing, The Branches Magazine, Southwest Michigan Teen Creative Writing Challenge, Canopy Magazine, and the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts at U-M. As well as continuing to write poetry, I'm also currently experimenting with autobiography in my latest project Sincerely, the Pastor's Oldest Daughter and a longer creative nonfiction research based book. I also photograph seniors, sports, and nature, and All the Little Things is truly a photography collection as much as it is a poetry collection.
